Carlos Franqui is a New York–based Creative Director whose work lives at the intersection of brand, fashion, and botanical design. With a foundation in advertising and media strategy, he approaches every installation not simply as decoration, but as communication — a spatial language that translates identity into atmosphere.

After graduating from the prestigious FlowerSchool New York, Carlos refined his craft alongside some of the most respected names in floral design, contributing to installations for cultural events, hospitality concepts, fashion houses, and public figures. These early experiences sharpened his sensitivity to scale, detail, and emotional nuance — and revealed something essential: the power of a space to alter how people feel.

Moved by the immediacy of those responses, he began questioning ephemerality itself. Why should beauty disappear overnight? Why couldn’t botanical work live longer, travel further, and continue to shape experience beyond a single moment? This inquiry led him to experiment with silk botanicals and alternative materials, ultimately developing what would become Floratorium’s signature Biofauxlia™ methodology — a refined approach that merges natural elements with enduring components to create work that feels organic, yet is designed to last.

 

Today, Floratorium stands as a trusted experiential partner to culturally relevant brands and forward-thinking institutions. Under Carlos’s direction, each project is conceived as an immersive environment — one that balances artistry with strategy, poetry with performance — shaping spaces that resonate physically, digitally, and emotionally long after the first impression.
